Archbishop Vladimir of Petropavlovsk and Bulaev celebrated a prayer service before the start of the new academic year

August 30, 2024. Petropavlovsk. Archbishop Vladimir of Petropavlovsk and Bulaev celebrated a prayer service in the Ascension Cathedral before the start of the new academic year.

The archpastor was assisted by: Secretary of the Petropavlovsk Diocese Archpriest Sergiy Pervushin, clergy of the cathedral Hieromonk Seraphim (Maksimov), Priest Maxim Abdulkhasanov, cathedral treasurer Deacon Vladimir Bartol.

Praying at the service were: students of the city's higher and secondary educational institutions and their parents, students of the gymnasium in the name of St. Sergius of Radonezh, teachers.

During the service, special requests were made for the students to be granted intelligence, wisdom, strength and power in mastering all good and useful knowledge.

At the end of the service, Archbishop Vladimir addressed those gathered with a parting word and wished the young people God's help and every success in the upcoming academic year.
