Secretary of the Kostanay Diocese took part in the environmental campaign "Taza Kazakhstan"

July 18, 2024. Kostanay. As part of the republican environmental campaign "Taza Kazakhstan" (Clean Kazakhstan), initiated by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a cleanup day was held with the participation of representatives of religious organizations of the region.

The event was held under the auspices of the Assembly (Club) of leaders of religious associations of the Kostanay region.

The participants in the action were leaders and parishioners of traditional faiths of the region.

With the blessing of Metropolitan Alexander of Astana and Kazakhstan, the secretary of the Kostanay and Rudny Diocese, Hieromonk Gennady (Burduzha), and the cleric of the Constantine and Helen Cathedral, Archpriest Vitaly Kleba, took part in the cleanup day.

During the event, the territory and adjacent areas of the alley along Komarova Street in Kostanay were cleaned.

Representatives of religious organizations noted that such events are an important element in educating the residents of our country about responsibility for order and cleanliness, and environmental culture.

The participants expressed their intention to continue the practice of holding joint cleanup days.
