On the Day of the Baptism of Rus, a wave of bell ringing rolled through all the churches of the Orthodox Church of Kazakhstan

On July 28, 2024, on the Day of the Baptism of Rus, a wave of bell ringing rolled through all the churches and monasteries of the Kazakhstan Metropolitan District as part of the church-wide action "Glory to Thee, God!"

With the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus', the bells of Kazakhstan's churches rang at noon local time.

For the past twelve years, this action has been included in the program of events dedicated to the celebration of the Day of the Baptism of Rus. For the first time, a simultaneous ringing united Orthodox churches and monasteries of Russia, Belarus, Moldova, Kazakhstan and a number of other countries in 2012.
