The head of the Orthodox Church of Kazakhstan got acquainted with the activities of the PO Global - Special Clothing factory

September 1, 2024. Aktobe. Metropolitan Alexander of Astana and Kazakhstan visited the factory of TOO PO Global - Special Clothing.

The enterprise is the largest plant in Western Kazakhstan, specializing in the development and manufacture of special clothing for employees of enterprises with increased safety requirements in the metallurgical, petrochemical, mining industries, energy, construction and agriculture.

The head of the Metropolitan District was accompanied by: Bishop Ignatius of Aktobe and Kyzylorda, Vicar of the Astana Diocese Bishop Claudian of Taldykorgan; Rector of the Almaty Church of the Icon of the Mother of God "Joy of All Who Sorrow" Archpriest Yevgeny Vorobyov, Head of the Metropolitan's Personal Secretariat Hieromonk Prokhor (Endovitsky), Head of the Metropolitan's Protocol Service Protodeacon Roman Golovin, Protodeacon Vladimir Syrovatsky.

The Primate of the Orthodox Church of Kazakhstan was met by the head of the enterprise N.A. Shabayeva and the deputy of the Aktobe regional maslikhat S.V. Vishnyak.

Nadezhda Aleksandrovna gave the Bishop and his accompanying persons a tour of the plant's production workshops and told them about the activities of the enterprise.

The head of the enterprise informed His Eminence that the plant participates in various charitable projects aimed at creating new jobs and protecting socially vulnerable groups of the population. "On the basis of TOO PO Global - Spetsodezhda, there is a training and production complex "Nadezhda", where people with disabilities undergo training in specialized programs. This year, the school has graduated 250 graduates, most of whom are employed in the sewing industry. Together with city universities, the Aktobe College of Service and the College for Children with Impaired Hearing, the company is implementing and developing dual education programs with elements of mentoring, where 80% is devoted to practical classes in production and 20% to theoretical classes at an educational institution. The program includes industrial practice and further employment of young specialists at the company's enterprises," Nadezhda Aleksandrovna noted in particular.

Metropolitan Alexander, in turn, informed the entrepreneur about the life of the Orthodox Church of Kazakhstan and the charitable activities carried out in the Kazakhstan Metropolitan District. The archpastor, in particular, spoke about the work of the main church social and charitable center of the Republic - "Abode of Mercy" - uniting the children's shelter "Solnyshko" and a nursing home.

During the excursion, the Head of the Metropolitan District talked with the employees of the enterprise and called for God's blessing on the activities of the management and workers.

In recognition of the work for the benefit of the Aktobe and Kyzylorda Diocese of the Orthodox Church of Kazakhstan, Metropolitan Alexander awarded: N.A. Shabaeva - the Order of the Martyrs Vera, Nadezhda, Lyubov and Sophia, deputy of the Aktobe regional maslikhat S.V. Vishnyak - the Order of the Holy Confessor Nikolai, Metropolitan of Alma-Ata and Kazakhstan.

At the end of the meeting, His Eminence and the director of the plant exchanged memorable gifts and wishes for success in good deeds and endeavors.
