The Head of the Metropolitan District Consecrated the Residence of the Administrator of the Aktobe Diocese

September 1, 2024. Aktobe. Metropolitan Alexander of Astana and Kazakhstan consecrated the newly built residence of the administrator of the Aktobe Diocese.

The following were praying at the service: Bishop Ignatius of Aktobe and Kyzylorda, Vicar of the Astana Diocese Bishop Claudian of Taldykorgan; Rector of the Almaty Church in Honor of the Icon of the Mother of God "Joy of All Who Sorrow" Archpriest Yevgeny Vorobyov, Head of the Metropolitan's Personal Secretariat Hieromonk Prokhor (Endovitsky), Head of the Metropolitan's Protocol Service Protodeacon Roman Golovin, Protodeacon Vladimir Syrovatsky.

Before the start of the service, the Head of the Metropolitan District addressed the audience with a speech in which he congratulated the manager of the Aktobe diocese on the completion of construction and expressed hope that the improvement of conditions for administrative work would contribute to the active development of church life in the region.

The Metropolitan sprinkled the premises of the building with holy water.

After the consecration ceremony, the Head of the Orthodox Church of Kazakhstan held a working meeting with Bishop Ignatius, during which they discussed current issues related to the development of diocesan spiritual and educational activities and interaction with government bodies and the public.
