The final diocesan meeting of the Pavlodar and Ekibastuz diocese took place

December 29, 2023. Pavlodar. The final diocesan meeting of the Pavlodar diocese of the Kazakhstan Metropolitan District was held in the Annunciation Cathedral, chaired by Archbishop of Pavlodar and Ekibastuz Barnabas.

In his report, the Administrator of the Diocese cited the main statistical data for the diocese, spoke about the most striking events in the life of the diocese and the ministry of the ruling bishop, outlined the main directions of diocesan activities in 2023, reported on social and educational catechetical work, information and publishing activities, youth , prison services, about the relationship of the diocese with government agencies and public organizations.

Concluding his speech, the archpastor thanked the clergy of the diocese for their diligence in the work of evangelical witness and for the zealous fulfillment of their assigned obediences, congratulated them on the saving days of the Nativity Fast and the upcoming New Year, also wished God’s help in their service.

Its chairman, Deacon Ambrosy Taukenov, gave a report on the activities of the diocesan audit commission.

During the diocesan meeting, the diocesan board of trustees was renewed.
