A youth online quiz “Religious picture of the world. Buddhism"

On January 28, 2024, with the blessing of Metropolitan Alexander of Astana and Kazakhstan, teams from youth clubs and Sunday schools of the Kazakhstan Metropolitan District took part in the mini Internet carousel “Religious Picture of the World. Buddhism".
The online quiz, organized by the commission for educational ministry of the Astana diocese, continued a series of five games, united under the title “Religious Picture of the World” and dedicated to world and national religions: Christianity (Catholicism and Protestantism), Islam, Buddhism and Judaism.
The intellectual competition was held in two subgroups: Sunday schools and youth clubs.
The quiz asked participants twenty questions about their knowledge of Buddhism, the fourth largest religion in the world with more than 520 million followers.
A total of 11 teams were involved in the event (7 from Sunday schools and 4 from parish youth clubs).
Based on the results of the intellectual competition, the following teams were recognized as winners and prize-winners.
