A diocesan meeting of the clergy of the Kostanay diocese was held

March 29, 2024. Kostanay. With the blessing of Metropolitan Alexander of Astana and Kazakhstan, a meeting of the diocesan council was held in the administrative and spiritual-cultural center of the Kostanay diocese named after Bishop Timon (Rusanov), chaired by the secretary of the diocesan administration, Hieromonk Gennady (Burdyuzha).

The meeting was attended by: deans of church districts, rectors and clergy of churches, heads of diocesan departments and employees of the diocesan administration.

Father Gennady addressed those present with a word in which current issues of church life in the Kustanai land were outlined. The secretary of the diocese noted the need to intensify parish activities, develop spiritual education and expand the presence of the Orthodox Church in the Internet space.

During the meeting, issues regarding the composition of the appointee commission of the Kostanay diocese and the updated composition of the diocesan church court were discussed. Also, the chief accountant of the diocese E.A. Makretskaya, gave a report on innovations in tax legislation to the audience.

At the end of the meeting, Hieromonk Gennady thanked the members of the diocesan council, heads of diocesan departments, deans and rectors for the work done.
