Metropolitan Alexander congratulated the Supreme Mufti of Kazakhstan on the holiday of Oraza Ait

April 9, 2024. Alma-Ata. The head of the Orthodox Church of Kazakhstan, Metropolitan Alexander of Astana and Kazakhstan, congratulated the Chairman of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kazakhstan, the Supreme Mufti of Nauryzbay Kazhy Taganuly on the holiday of Oraza Ait.

In one of his addresses to the people, the Head of State, the respected Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev, noted: “Kazakhstan from time immemorial has been a territory of peace and creation, respect for faith and moral values, tolerance and good neighborliness.” From ancient times to the present day, in the vastness of the Great Steppe, Muslims and Christians, in peace and brotherly love, supporting each other, work for the development and prosperity of our common home - blessed Kazakhstan.
