The graduation of diocesan educational courses for the laity took place in Ust-Kamenogorsk

May 25, 2024. Ust-Kamenogorsk. In the conference hall of the spiritual and administrative center of the Ust-Kamenogorsk diocese, a solemn act was held dedicated to the end of the academic year at diocesan educational courses for the laity.

The event was headed by Archbishop Amfilohiy of Ust-Kamenogorsk and Semipalatinsk.

The meeting was attended by: director of the Central Sunday School of Ust-Kamenogorsk M.V. Kolosova, members of the teaching staff.

Opening the ceremony, the Bishop addressed those gathered with greetings. His Eminence congratulated the graduates and noted the special importance of spiritual education, wishing the participants of the holiday not to stop there, but to further improve their knowledge of the Orthodox faith. Then the sacristan of the St. Andrew's Cathedral of Ust-Kamenogorsk, Hieromonk Nikodim (Avdeev) and the teacher, Priest Konstantin Dyakov, delivered a welcoming speech.

The course participants thanked Archbishop Amphilochius and the teachers for their efforts, wishing them good health and success in their ministry.

Then, in a solemn atmosphere, the archpastor presented the graduates with certificates of completion of courses and memorable gifts.

At the end of the event, a group photo was taken, after which a festive tea party took place.
