Day of Remembrance of the Martyrs Vera, Nadezhda, Lyubov and Sophia is the patronal feast of the Church of the Representative Office of the Orthodox Church of Kazakhstan in Moscow

September 30, 2024 - the afterfeast of the Exaltation of the Cross, the day of remembrance of the holy martyrs Vera, Nadezhda, Lyubov and their mother Sophia.
The patronal feast is celebrated by the Church of the Representative Office of the Orthodox Church of Kazakhstan in Moscow - the Church of the Martyrs Vera, Nadezhda, Lyubov and Sophia on Miusakh.
In the Church of the Representative Office, the Divine Liturgy was led by the Administrator of the North-Eastern Moscow Vicariate, Metropolitan Arseny of Zvenigorod.
His Eminence was co-served by: Vicar of His Holiness the Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus', Bishop Feognost of Bronnitsy; Dean of the churches of the Trinity District of the city of Moscow, rector of the Church of the Icon of the Mother of God "Unexpected Joy" in Maryina Roshcha in the city of Moscow, Archpriest Georgy Klimov; key keeper of the Church of the Holy Martyrs Vera, Nadezhda, Lyubov and their mother Sophia, Hieromonk Anthony (Drobiazko); Archpriest Pavel Vishnevsky, Hieromonk Viktorin (Aseyev), Hieromonk Daniil (Makogon), clergy of the church and guest clergy.
The liturgical chants were performed by the church choir under the direction of Anna Rozhnova.
The following prayed at the service: employees of the Representative Office of the Kazakhstan Metropolitan District, parishioners of the church, pilgrims, teachers and students of the Sunday school.
The sermon on the verse after the sacrament was delivered by Archpriest Pavel Vishnevsky.
At the end of the Liturgy, a festive procession with the cross was held.
The service ended with worship of the Holy and Life-giving Cross and glorification of the holy martyrs Vera, Nadezhda, Lyubov and their mother Sophia.
Metropolitan Arseny congratulated the clergy and parishioners on the patronal feast and delivered a sermon.
In the courtyard of the church, parishioners and guests of the parish celebrations were offered a festive meal.
