The Head of the Kazakhstan Metropolitan District congratulated His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus' on his birthday

November 20, 2024, it is 78th birthday of the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus'. Metropolitan Alexander of Astana and Kazakhstan congratulated His Holiness on this memorable date.

The congratulatory address says:

Please accept congratulations on your birthday!
Your whole life is a complete service to "the living and true God" (Heb. 9:14). As the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church, you are an example of strong faith, ardent love for God and selfless work in the field of Christ. Giving all your strength to the Patriarchal service, you confidently lead the flock entrusted to you by God along the path of salvation, tirelessly teaching people the gospel truth.
The years of your Primate's labors have been marked by the adoption of important decisions aimed at strengthening the traditional spiritual foundations of the countries and nations, which are part of the canonical space of the Russian Orthodox Church, the Republic of Kazakhstan is a part of it.
The example of your truly ascetic work inspires archpastors, clergy and laity in serving the Mother Church.
On this solemn day, I respectfully ask you, Your Holiness, to accept my wishes for good health, long life and "mercy from the Lord" (Jude 1:21).
May the All-Merciful Lord grant you His all-strengthening help in your difficult and responsible Patriarchal service for the good of the Russian Orthodox Church and the Fatherland!
