A matinee organized as part of the XIV children's creative festival “Christmas Angel” was held at the Central Sunday School

December 23, 2023. Alma-Ata. With the blessing of Metropolitan Alexander of Astana and Kazakhstan, a matinee organized as part of the XIV children’s creative festival “Christmas Angel” took place in the Church Meeting Hall at St. Nicholas Cathedral.

The participants of the event were pupils of the junior groups of the Central Sunday School

Before the start of the matinee, the children received the Holy Mysteries of Christ at the Divine Liturgy in St. Nicholas Church.

The director of the school, Galina Vasilyevna Cherepanova, addressed those present with a welcoming speech.

Then the pupils of the junior groups demonstrated their talents to the guests. Children sang, danced, danced in circles and performed miniature theater plays.

At the end of the festive program, each participant received a gift with various sweets.
