January 4, 2024 marked thirteen years since the repose in the Lord of Metropolitan of Vyatka and Sloboda Chrysanf (Chepil).

Metropolitan Alexander of Astana and Kazakhstan performed a funeral litany for the ever-memorable first Metropolitan of Vyatka in the Alexander Nevsky Chapel of the spiritual and cultural center of the Kazakhstan Metropolitan District named after Metropolitan Joseph (Chernov) in Almaty.

Those who prayed during the service were: Secretary of the Metropolitan District, Honored Artist of Russia O.N. Ovchinnikov; acting rector of the Alma-Ata Theological Seminary, head of the information and publishing department of the Metropolitan District, Archpriest Evgeny Ivanov; head of the Metropolitan’s personal secretariat, Hieromonk Prokhor (Endovitsky); head of the administrative secretariat of the Head of the Metropolitan District, Priest Georgy Sidorov; Deputy Head of the Information Department of the Metropolitan District, Priest Kirill Konoplev; Head of the Metropolitan Protocol Service, Protodeacon Roman Golovin; Protodeacon Vladimir Syrovatsky; Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation, Head of the Culture Department of the Kazakhstan Metropolitan District L.E. Goricheva; employees of the Alma-Ata diocesan administration.

Before the prayer began, Metropolitan Alexander addressed those present with a word of teaching, in which he gratefully remembered the works of the blessed bishop.

At the end of the litany, the clergy and believers sang eternal memory.
