The Christmas online quiz “On the Way to Bethlehem” took place

On December 24, 2023, with the blessing of Metropolitan Alexander of Astana and Kazakhstan, the commission for educational ministry of the Astana diocese held an international online youth quiz “On the way to Bethlehem.”

Teams of schoolchildren and students from Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, Latvia and Lithuania answered the questions of the intellectual competition. A total of 23 teams were involved in the event.

The quiz was held in two subgroups: Sunday schools and youth clubs.

The tournament questionnaire included tasks on knowledge of the events of gospel history and the features of the worship of the feasts of the Nativity of Christ, Holy Epiphany and the Presentation of the Lord.

Based on the results of the intellectual competition, the following teams were recognized as winners and prize-winners.
