The head of the public relations department of the Kazakhstan Metropolitan District, Archpriest Alexander Suvorov, met with servicemen of the National Guard of Kazakhstan

With the blessing of Metropolitan Alexander of Astana and Kazakhstan, the head of the department of the Kazakhstan Metropolitan District for public relations, the keymaster of the Ascension Cathedral, Archpriest Alexander Suvorov, took part in a scientific and educational event held in military unit 5571 of the National Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The meeting with the command and personnel of the military unit was also attended by the psychologist of the Ascension Cathedral, Victoria Levina and the imam of the central city mosque, Bekzat Okapovich Syzdykov.

The main topic of communication was the prevention of gambling addiction and suicidal tendencies among military personnel.

The event was part of a wider program to support the psychological health and well-being of soldiers.

Archpriest Alexander Suvorov and psychologist Victoria Levina discussed with the soldiers ways to recognize and overcome gambling addiction and other psychological addictions, as well as methods to prevent suicidal tendencies.

During the meeting, an open discussion took place during which soldiers had the opportunity to ask questions and share their thoughts and experiences.

The organizers of the meeting expressed the hope that such events will help create a more spiritually and emotionally healthy atmosphere in the military environment. The leadership of the National Guard unit emphasized the importance of the common efforts of representatives of the main traditional faiths of the country and qualified specialists in the field of psychology to resolve issues related to the moral and mental state of military personnel and members of their families.
