Akim of the city of Alma-Ata Erbolat Askarbekovich Dosayev congratulated the residents of the metropolis on Easter:

"I cordially congratulate you on the Bright Resurrection of Christ - Easter!
This spring holiday is a symbol of goodness, hope and spiritual renewal and is always celebrated in an atmosphere of respect, peace and mutual understanding. Easter fills our hearts with faith, inspires good deeds, strengthens the desire for justice, mercy and mutual support. This is the time when we especially keenly feel the power of traditions carefully passed down from generation to generation and the importance of human warmth, support of loved ones."

The head of the city's executive authority noted that Alma-Ata is "a home for people of different nationalities and religions, and such good holidays as Easter become a reminder of our ability to be together, respect and support each other. These are the values that underlie the peace, harmony and sustainable development of our hometown."

E.A. Dosayev wished the Head of the Orthodox Church of Kazakhstan and the people of Kazakhstan good health, peace and prosperity.
